3D Secure
Card payments may be verified using 3D Secure, the authentication used by card issuers such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express (SafeKey). If your bank requires it, you'll be asked to confirm the payment – for example in your banking app or with a one-time code – before your order is completed.
PCI-DSS compliant payment processing
Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant payment providers – Shopify Payments for card payments, plus PayPal and Klarna where you choose them. Your full card details are handled by these providers and are never stored by us.
